About

Annette

Annette

Growing up in a musical household, Annette learned the lyrics to songs her dad would rehearse repeatedly at a very young age. He had a brief but intense brush with fame (google Tony Bavaar) before she was born but the years following were still rich with local musical commitments. After nine years of piano, the cello as a young teen, and vocals in high school, Annette began singing with local choirs and theaters as well as in a wedding/party band. After marriage Annette & Jim moved to the Carolinas and music was reserved for serving on worship teams but evolved into playing rock & roll out and about. Her influences are widespread across genres and not limited to female vocalists. The family household was rich with legitimate singers such as Sinatra & Streisand and was then followed by classic rock from older siblings growing up in the Woodstock era. Annette has a deep appreciation for and makes a great effort toward replicating original recordings. She is so thankful that she & her husband get to have this hobby together!

Jim

Jim

Over the years Jim has developed his own unique playing style inspired by the artistry and attitude of the lates 60's and early 70’s. His favorites remain Jimmy Page & Johny Winter, but loves breaking out of those boundaries for some Johnny Cash & even maybe a Gretchen Wilson song! His style emerged and has been refined out of necessity while serving in worship ministry for years and often playing with only a drummer while living in the Carolinas. Jim is passionate about learning news songs & works hard to continuously update the set lists to include a wide variety so listeners are engaged, and bringing energy to events and audiences. Jim moved to Fernandina Beach full time in March of 2024 and enjoys playing around town as a part time musician.
